Privacy Policy

Effective date: 5 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information is processed when you visit Proxima Hub at proximahub.online or email us, why, for how long, and what rights you have. The honest summary is short: the site itself collects nothing from you, sets no cookies and runs no tracking. The only personal information involved is the basic technical record our web server keeps of each request, and anything you choose to send us by email.

1. Who is responsible for your information

The controller of personal information processed through this site is:

Company
THEUMI LTD
Registered address
161 Malden Road, New Malden, United Kingdom, KT3 6AA
Company number
10415466
VAT number
GB257443001
Email
info@proximahub.online

THEUMI LTD is established in the United Kingdom, so this policy is written under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We have not appointed a data protection officer. Questions go to the email address above.

2. What we collect

Through the website: nothing you enter. There are no forms, accounts, comment boxes, newsletters or search fields. The site sets no cookies and uses no browser storage. It loads no analytics, advertising, social media or other third-party scripts, and it loads fonts from your own device rather than from an external service.

Server logs. Like almost every website, our web server automatically records a line for each request it receives. That line contains:

  • the IP address the request came from;
  • the date and time of the request;
  • the address of the page or file requested, and the response status;
  • the user agent string your browser sends, which describes the browser and operating system;
  • the referring page, if your browser sends one.

Email. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, the content of your message and anything attached to it.

Affiliate links. When you click a paid link to World of Warships, you leave our site. The affiliate network's tracking service and the game's vendor then handle your visit under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your name, email address or account details from them. We are told only that a sign-up counted under the programme occurred, which is how commission is calculated, and we cannot link that information to you.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • Server logs are used to keep the site secure and working: spotting abusive traffic, diagnosing errors and investigating attempted attacks. Our legal basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). We have a legitimate interest in running a secure website, and the information is minimal and kept briefly. We do not use logs to build profiles or identify individual visitors.
  • Emails are used to read and reply to your message, and to keep a record of correspondence in case it needs following up. Our legal basis is legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us. Where your email is a request to exercise a data protection right, it is our legal obligation to deal with it.

We do not rely on consent for anything, because we do nothing that would need it. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.

4. How long we keep it

  • Server logs: rotated daily and deleted automatically after 14 days. If a specific log entry is needed to investigate a security incident, we may keep that entry until the investigation ends, and for no more than 12 months.
  • Emails: kept for 24 months after our last exchange with you, then deleted, unless they relate to an unresolved complaint or a legal claim, in which case we keep them until that is resolved.

5. Who else receives it

Hosting provider. The site runs on a server rented from a hosting company. It provides the infrastructure on which our server logs are stored, and acts as our processor. It is the only third party involved in operating the site.

Email provider. Messages sent to our address pass through and are stored by the service that hosts our mailbox, which also acts as our processor.

We do not share personal information with advertisers, data brokers, analytics companies or game companies. We would disclose information to the police or a regulator only where the law requires it.

6. Transfers outside the United Kingdom

Our hosting and email providers may store or access information on servers outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, we make sure the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations, or by the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, as UK GDPR requires. You can ask us for details of the safeguard that applies by emailing info@proximahub.online.

7. How we protect it

  • The whole site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and our server is encrypted.
  • Server logs can be read only by the publisher's administrators, using individual credentials.
  • Logs are deleted automatically on a fixed schedule rather than kept indefinitely.
  • The site has no database of visitor information and no login system that could be breached.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • rectification of anything inaccurate;
  • erasure of your information in certain circumstances;
  • restriction of how we use it in certain circumstances;
  • data portability, where that applies;
  • object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests.

To use any of these rights, email info@proximahub.online. We will reply within one month. For server logs, we will need the IP address and approximate time of your visit, because logs contain no names. We do not charge for requests except where the law allows it.

9. Complaints

Please contact us first at info@proximahub.online. We will try to put things right. If you are not satisfied, you have the right to complain to the UK supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office. If you live in the European Economic Area, you may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

10. If a data breach happens

If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to put people's rights and freedoms at risk, we will report it to the Information Commissioner's Office within 72 hours of becoming aware of it. If the risk to you is high, we will also tell you directly without undue delay, wherever we have the means to contact you.

11. Children

This site is written for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 16, and it collects nothing from children, or from anyone else, through its pages. If a child has emailed us and a parent or guardian would like that email deleted, please contact us.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles personal information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top before the change takes effect. If we ever introduce something that needs your consent, such as a cookie, we will ask for it first. Significant changes will also be noted on the homepage for at least 30 days.
