Cookie Policy
Effective date: 5 October 2026
The short version: Proxima Hub does not use cookies. This page explains what that means in practice, and what does happen when you visit.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, so it can recognise the browser on a later request. Cookies are used for things such as keeping people signed in, remembering preferences, measuring visits and targeting advertising.
What this site does
Proxima Hub sets no cookies of its own and allows no third party to set cookies through it. Specifically, the site has:
- no analytics or visitor statistics tools;
- no advertising tags or conversion tracking;
- no tracking pixels or web beacons;
- no embedded social media posts, videos or share buttons;
- no sign-in, session or shopping basket identifiers.
Because nothing is set, there is no cookie banner or consent pop-up on this site. There is nothing to consent to, and a banner would suggest otherwise. In the UK, the rules on cookies and similar technologies are in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, and the Information Commissioner's Office publishes guidance on them.
What happens instead
When your browser requests a page, our web server records a basic log entry: your IP address, the time, the page requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user agent string that describes your browser. This happens without cookies. The logs are used only for security and diagnostics and are deleted automatically after 14 days. Our privacy policy gives the full details.
The site's fonts come from your own device, and its stylesheet, script and icon are served from our own domain. Visiting a page here sends no request to any other company's servers.
Other browser storage and fingerprinting
The site does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or any other browser storage. It does not use browser fingerprinting, the technique of identifying a device from its combination of settings. The site's only script opens and closes the navigation menu on small screens. It stores nothing and sends nothing anywhere.
When you leave the site
Links to other websites, including the paid links to World of Warships, take you to services we do not control. Those sites may set their own cookies under their own policies, which you will find on those sites. Our policy covers proximahub.online only.
Controlling cookies in your browser
You do not need to do anything on this site. To manage cookies elsewhere, every major browser lets you see and delete stored cookies, block third-party cookies or all cookies, and clear cookies automatically when you close the browser. Look in your browser's settings under privacy or site data. The browser maker's help pages explain each option for your version.
If this ever changes
If we ever decide to use a cookie or similar technology, we will update this page first. For anything that is not strictly necessary, we will put a working consent mechanism in place before any cookie is set, so the choice is yours. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@proximahub.online.
